As one of our technology risk professionals, you’ll help clients improve the competitive advantage of their information technology operations through enhanced cost efficiency and managing the risks associated with running their systems. As part of a market-leading global network of 6,000 technology risk professionals, you’ll gain valuable experience across industries and geographies and have the opportunity to deepen your subject matter knowledge.

In your role as an IT Risk and Assurance graduate you’ll be responsible for:

  • Making a technical contribution to client engagements
  • Working effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports and schedules for clients and other parties

From day one as a graduate you’ll have responsibility, and be encouraged to set ambitious goals for your career.  You’ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and receive generous support from the firm and your colleagues to gain some post-graduate qualifications. We’re recruiting for positions in our Adelaide, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney offices.

Eligibility

  • In the final year of your degree or as a graduate within 12 months from your graduation date at the time of application and available to start in early 2011
  • Studying in either information systems, information technology, business information systems or computer science degrees.
  • An Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident

ISSS Graduate BBQ

Dear Students,

The end of your university life marks the culmination of almost 20 years of study and is the moment most people refer to when they think of becoming a ‘grown up’. New challenges and experiences await you once you leave our fine institution.

But we’re not giving you up without a fight; the ISSS together with the DIS are holding a BBQ for all graduating students – its probably the last free sausage you’ll ever eat.

So come along for one last hurrah. It’ll be sad to see you go.

ISSS 2010 AGM

Our tenure as your ISSS committee is coming to an end, and as sad as we are to be finishing, we’re delighted to invite you to run for committee membership.

Being part of the ISSS Committee demonstrates leadership and initiative to employers and greatly enhances your CV with these characteristics. It is also a unique opportunity to interact and network with employers.

As a member of the ISSS committee, you’ll be representing the needs and interests of IT students and society members through organisation and execution of social and careeer events, facilitating interaction with industry firms and employers. The roles available are as follows:
